تقوم الفتيات بزراعة الأضحية في شهر ذي القعدة من كل عام قبل عيد الأضحى المبارك
ثم يذهبن برفقة أهاليهم و أقربائهم للبحر للغناء و رمي النباتات في يوم عرفة
The idea of the workshop surrounds the tradition of حية بية which is a tradition that began generations ago, and which aims to teach children the virtue of giving. It begins before Eid Aladha and lasts 10 days. Girls take any seed at home and puts it in soil and waters it every day, as if it is the girl’s sacrifice. On the night of Eid, they go with family and relatives to put the plant to float on the sea, singing the song as they throw it into the sea tides.
